One of than signs is a “Byte” A bite is constituted by 8 bits and it can be 1 of 256 different signs (2^8 = 256). ![]() When this data is not a word is, you will see only strange signs. Green block: Here is the data displayed as you would see it in a text editor, (Notepad for example). ![]() Most hex editors are in 3 parts separated (colored in the picture below): Here are some base knowledge’s about hex editors. The save editor is needed to fix the save file checksum. The save editor is for example with ShopSpezial. Use the one you like or the one you already installed have. It is not important which hex editor you use. Important! Before you do any change to the save-game, make a back-up. ![]() This should be a beginning in the world of game “hexing” for you. Some changes in NFSMW can only be made with a Hex-Editor, since there is until now no Toll for it, and there may never will. ![]()
